Bilbao, 10 June 2019.- Nortegas held its annual meeting with its partner companies on 4 June. This year’s event, entitled “Remotivating”, was held at La Magdalena Palace in Santander and was attended by around 200 people.

Nortegas considers its partner companies to a key asset in its growth strategy and meets with them annually in order to analyse results, share experiences and future strategies, and recognise their commitment and dedication. In that regard, the company spotlighted the performance of Montener, Langreastur, Instaman, Berotek and ACM.

The event included different speakers, who covered Nortegas’s commitment to growth, along with its commitment to R&D&I, decarbonisation, the circular economy and combatting climate change. Yet the highlight was the input from Luis Galindo, the well-known conference speaker, who spoke about the need to be motivated and excited every day in order to improve the world.

This year’s meeting was the first public appearance of the new Nortegas CEO, Javier Conteras, who told the delegates “I am very excited that the first time I am speaking on behalf of Nortegas in this forum”.

The new Nortegas CEO took the opportunity to explain the boost that company wants to give to growth after the arrival of the new shareholders, with the implementation of a more proactive commercial stragegy based on being more customer oriented, more efficient cooperation with the partner channel and an exhaustive redesigning of the company’s commercial capabilities.

Contreras also stressed the satisfaction and gratitude with the growth results obtained by the company in 2018: I can tell you that Nortegas grew over the average of the sector in 2018, thanks to the joint effort of the commercial team along with all of you”.

He also had a message for all the delegates: “Teamwork is what produces and at Nortegas we believe in team work” and concluded by saying “I look forwarding to seeing you next year to celebrate what is going to be a great year”.
